Worldwide, 30 million kids play minecraft. This generation thinks in 3D.
That’s why Lemonade Stand is excited to help kids to shift their perspective: from consuming 3D digital content, to producing 3D digital content.
We've partnered with our friends at Plattar, Australia's first and easiest to use Augmented Reality (AR) platform, to allow our budding 3D artists to view and manipulate their creations in an AR environment.
In partnership with Plattar, This program will open their eyes to new opportunities in VR/AR and introduce them to an industry that will provide exciting careers to many in the near future.
To find out more about the exciting developments in Augmented Reality, check out this video from Microsoft Hololens:
Lemonade Stand has partnered with Plattar, Australia's first and easiest to use Augmented Reality (AR) platform, to allow young, budding 3D artists to view and manipulate their creations in an AR environment.
During this workshop, your kids will learn CAD design to turn their ideas into 3D objects, which can then be used for Augmented Reality experiences. We will be exploring the opportunities in Virtual and Augmented Reality, and porting their creations onto the Plattar AR platform for display. This will be a hands on workshop including:
During this workshop, your kids will have a chance to make their own designs and will be using professional grade software and equipment, which means they'll receive unique, real-world experience they can use outside the classroom.
Most of our students are between the ages of 9 and 12. However, if your child is slightly younger or older, that's fine as well! What matters more is whether they're comfortable working with other kids who are either slightly older or younger. As a general guide, our latest session had kids between the ages 8 to 13
Startup Pitches will occur on the 2nd day of the workshop commencing at 2:30 pm. The pitches will demonstrate how much your child has learned within 2 days and we'd love to have you and your family come watch and support!
We cap classes at 21 students. We have 2 lead facilitators plus volunteers. This means your child will always have someone looking after them and making sure they're keeping up and enjoying themselves!
To ensure Lemonade Stand is accessible to as many kids as possible, we run super-early and early bird specials in the weeks leading up to our classes, which offer significant discounts on tickets. We also offer group discounts for groups of 2 or 3 - so grab a friend or sibling and save together!
Thanks for sending us your details!
